Today was the first sunny day in what feels like months.  In reality I think it’s the second sunny day in about two weeks, which for California is sinful.  After a couple long weeks of constant rain and unsettling earthquake rumors, the Sunday shine was much welcomed. 

I spent yesterday and the first half of today feeling very under the weather so in an attempt to snap out of my blahness and to get out of what started to feel like a cramped little apartment, we made a bee line for the closest beach.  Avila Beach is about 12 miles from San Luis Obispo and it’s by far my favorite beach around.  Plus we needed a chance to introduce Lola to a bit of the Central Coast.
