I spent the first twenty-one years of my life in Washington State before I traded in my winter parka for some California sunshine. I live in San Luis Obispo, California – located twelve miles inland from the coast, halfway between San Fransisco and Los Angeles. It’s a college town that stays between 70 and 75 degrees almost year round so it’s surprisingly difficult to get a good tan. There are no drive-thrus. There’s plenty to do, but with a small town feel. In 2011, San Luis Obispo was named “the happiest place in America,” and I would have to agree.
I live here with my husband, Jon, and my adorable baby boy, Cameron.
I love to write. I love adventures. I love being outdoors and getting sweaty.
I’m passionate about: young people discovering who they are in Christ, spiritual movements and self awareness through artistic avenues. I’m also passionate about having a great marriage and family life.
You could easily describe me as a highly emotional person. I feel everything – the good and the bad. And I think about stuff a lot. This is perhaps my greatest strength and pitfall all at the same time.
Thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you’ll stick around and get to know me better!
