As Christians, Jesus tells us that we are to live in the world, but we are not to be of the world.

“The world behind me, the cross before me,” as one song says.

What does that mean…practically speaking?

Well, that’s what I’m trying to figure out as I live my life as a disciple of Christ, a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and young woman.  Sometimes it seems complicated.  But because of God’s grace I am learning to embrace truth, create beauty, love deeply and make the most of the life I’ve been given.

My dream is that somehow my writing and my life would reflect the glory and beauty of Christ.  I hope you enjoy what you find on my blog!
